I am from Bournemouth in England but currently working in Krakow.

I have owned Cal look bugs for MANY years... Embarassed

and am a member of a VW Club, JG54 Greenhearts...

The forum is generally written in Polish, but guys here do speak English, so if you'd like to write something in whatever topic, just go ahead.

Kraków is a very nice place to live and it's not that far from Warsaw after all. Way closer than Bournemouth in England Smile

If your're long enough in Poland, you've probably noticed, that there's a quite large VW meeting beeing held near Cracow on annual basis.

Do you think you could make it to one of our cruise nights?
We're running three events this season - last saturday of May, July and September.
It would be great to meet you in preson.

Of course we do know about your club Smile

It's one of the most famous clubs in Europe!

Yes, Pete / Funkenblitz is OK.

March is very busy for the Club; cars will be going to Ninove (Belgium), the Drag Day at Santa Pod and the Volksworld show.

The last Drag Day I went to it rained Sad

My good friend Alex Taylor ('DefCon3') will be showing another new car at Volksworld -he usually produces a new one (or 2) at the show every year. I will catch up with him at the weekend to see progress...

Hopefully will meet you guys at a cruise night,

I like the colour a lot, what is it?
I'm in the middle of restoration of my bug and have chosen a similar colour but if you know what colour code or name it is I'd be grateful for the info Smile

Yes, that was a club car but was retuned to stock a couple of years ago. Standard engine etc.
It's a factory colour; Anthracite L469

Yes, a few cars will be at Volksworld, and we will all be there at some point. I will be there on Friday to help move some cars in.
Ivan (the Editor of Volksworld) is also a member of our club.

Look out for guys wearing Green Heart tee shirts, and say hi,
